Broken Arrow, OK 74008 Client: Bixby Public Schools Client Representative: Dr. Kyle Woods Architect: Graber & Associates Project Size: 13,778 sq. ft. Date of Completion: August 2009 This addition to the existing 5th and 6th grade center duplicated previous designs for a seamless whole appearance. The second floor is supported by a composite slab constructed of beams, epic deck, and concrete. The roof structure is constructed with light gauge trusses supported by columns and beams. The building envelope features metal roof panels, exterior plaster, brick, and a split-faced block. The interior has classroom spaces, 1st and 2nd floor restrooms and is heated and cooled by an energy efficient, geo-thermal mechanical system controlled by the districts energy management system.
