Date of Completion: February 2022 This was a joint venture project that consisted of building a new 17,337 sq. ft. administration building to house the Kay County Assessor, Clerk, Treasure and Election Board. Each office has its own restroom, breakroom and storage area designed as a FEMA rated storm shelter. The building also houses the Kay County Commission Chambers and has public restrooms. The floors are a porcelain tile and the exterior is a cast stone veneer which blends in seamlessly with the almost 100 year old courthouse next door. A separate 5,360 sq. ft. building was built to house the OSU Extension Office along with a new concrete parking lot on the west side of the facility.
