Date of Completion: November 2012 Oologah-Talala Public Schools received funding for facility improvements through a 2010 bond issue. Soon after the bond issue was passed, Rick Scott Construction was chosen as the Construction Manager. This project consisted of a Lower Elementary addition which included 4 new classrooms, 4 restrooms, a large storage rooms for teachers; a Girls Athletic Building which consisted of a 5,036 sq. ft. ground-up building including a coach’s office, a girls’ locker room, and a weight room featuring rubber flooring; a 25,348 sq. ft. Middle School Addition of multiple classrooms, STEM labs, computer labs, administrative offices, vocal and band rooms, and a teacher’s lounge; a 6,400 sq. ft. ground-up maintenance building for the maintenance staff that included a large workshop with offices and a lounge; a ground up 2,619 sq. ft. addition for the vocal music department; a 11,040 sq. ft. High School addition including which included 4 classrooms, 4 STEM rooms and approximately 52,000 sq. ft. of an adjustable roofing system installed on the existing gym, PAC, and pool along with parking lot improvements.
